The Beauty Therapy Centre owns two well-respected beauty salons; one in Steeple Claydon near Buckingham, Bucks and the second in Shenley Church End, Milton Keynes. The team is made up of four experienced, highley qualified Beauty Therapists.
Clare Barker PGCE, IHBC, CIDESCO, CITY& GUILDS, BABTAC
Clare has over 20 years experience in beauty therapy, facial skin care and electrolysis permanent hair removal. Her salons in Milton Keynes and Steeple Claydon offer a comprehensive range of beauty treatments including specialist facials such as: CACI Hydratone firming facials, microdermabrasion and relaxation facials such as the wonderfully indulgent Balinese facial. Clare specialises in skin-care treatments, her unique approach to facials has contributed to her reputation as an authority on problem skin. At The Beauty Therapy Centre in Shenley Church End Mk and steeple Claydon near Buckingham the therapists will bespoke skin-care to achieve fantastic results.
Clare works Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday morning and Saturday in Steeple Claydon and Thursday and Friday afternoon in Milton Keynes
Clare’s renowned for electrical epilation for permanent hair removal. This highly effective treatment will remove all superfluous facial hair. Clare uses both Blend and Diathermy methods for optimal results. Wedding make up and perfect French manicures are another of The Beauty Therapy Centre’s favourite treatments.
Clare opened The Beauty Therapy Centre, Steeple Claydon in June 2004. The salon is open six days a week from 9.30am to 9.00pm on Monday to Friday and 9am to 5.00pm on Saturdays. The Shenley Church End Milton Keynes salon opened in October 2009 and is closed on Mondays. Late nights are Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Professional Development History
- I graduated in 1987 after a three-year beauty/business course, qualified in all aspects of advanced beauty therapy and salon management
- I ran a successful salon in Singapore for ten years, drawing on the oriental influence to expand my massage skills
- I have been lecturing in dermatology and electrolysis on the ‘BTEC Beauty Therapy Science’ course in Milton Keynes College since 2004
- I achieved my PGCE teaching degree in 2007
- I gained my A1 assessor award in 2005
- I gained the Sterex Electroysis Teachers Diploma in 2006
- I have enjoyed developing The Beauty Therapy Centre since opening in 2004 and look forward to its continuing success.

Toni Jones
Toni is our Senior therapist with over seven years experience.Toni graduated "Student of the year" from her beauty course, reflecting her exceptional professionalism, client care and theory knowledge in the field of beauty therapy.
Toni has been a great asset to TBTC since 2006. she is fully qualified in all aspects of Beauty Therapy, her specialist treatments are semi permanent eye lash extensions, to instantly lengthen and thicken your natural lashes. A full set of semi permanent lash extensions will last several weeks. Toni is also renowned for spray tanning, a spray tan will last up to 10 days. Prepare the skin in the days before your tan by exfoliating and moisturising and preserve the tan afterwards by spraying oil over damp skin and air drying rather than rubbing with a towell.
Toni works Wednesdays 11am-7pm in the Shenely salon, Thursday 3pm-9pm, Friday 3pm-9pm and Saturdays 9.30am-4pm in Steeple Claydon
Toni has gained a reputation for creating facial treatments to cater for individual clients needs. For example Toni can combine a microdermabrasion facial for deep cleansing and exfoliation with CACI Hydratone for deep hydration and firming resulting in a unique facial experience.
At The Beauty Therapy Centre, one of our most popular treatments is Fake Bake spray tanning. This very low odour tanning product is voted the best spray tan on the market. Toni is brilliant at giving you an even, smooth, natural looking tan!
Toni has introduced Indian head massage to our already extensive range of treatments a fantastic way to de-stress, relax and unwind.

Alyce Prpa
Alyce graduated top of her class, with a full level 3 beauty therapy diploma. Alyce's gentle nature and perfectionist work practice enhance our clients experience, her attention to detail and caring attitude to client care is one of the reasons Alyce has gained respect from everyone that meets her at The Beauty Therapy Centre. Alyce is a real asset and valued member of the team, she works in both beauty therapy centres, Milton Keynes and Buckingham
"Hot Stone Massage" is her speciality in both Milton Keynes and Steeple. This beautiful treatment is deeply relaxing and therapeutic.

Christine Jones is an experienced therapist, she did her training at the elite Champneys Academy and has been working in the beauty industry for several years. Christine is a people's person and her sunny disposition and warm smile, as well as her beauty therapy skills enhance the team at The Beauty Therapy Centre Milton Keynes.
