I am also Luton Town Football club’s massage therapist.

Personal Training
After your initial assessment and consultation which includes measuring blood pressure and heart rate, I will prepare a detailed training program focusing on the areas that we decide need attention, be that fitness, strength, weight loss, body image or rehabilitation.
The aim is to make exercise fun, with plenty of encouragement and motivation, giving particular attention to maintaining correct body posture to prevent injury.
Where will we do it?
We will train predominately outside, starting from your front door, which gives a number of benefits over
driving to an air conditioned gym, namely:
• Fresh air ensures your body is working harder
• Natural hills and obstacles increase cardiovascular effort
• Unlike a gym, you only pay when you use the service
• It’s much less boring than a gym!
We will combine aerobic and resistance exercises to improve muscle tone which in turn increases your metabolic rate, strengthens your heart and increases your V02 max lung capacity.
All in all, you’ll feel great!
It is not only important to set goals that are realistic and achievable, it is also necessary to devise a method to quantitatively measure the results. However, the most essential element of any form of exercise must be fun. If you enjoy the sessions, you will certainly get more out of them.
How often should I train?
I recommend that you have one supervised session a week, with a program that incorporates simple exercises in between. However, the regularity of your sessions is entirely up to you and can be more or less than once per week. You can also share your training sessions with your partner or friends
Circuit Training
I hold circuit training classes on Thursday evenings (7.00-8.00pm) at Steeple Claydon Village Hall - just up the hill from The Beauty Therapy Centre.
Circuit training is an excellent way to simultaneously improve mobility and build strength and stamina. My classes are traditional style circuits utilising a selection of strength and cardio exercises for a complete body workout under qualified instruction. Each exercise is performed for a specified number of repetitions or for a prescribed time period before moving on to the next exercise. The exercises within each circuit are separated by brief, timed rest intervals, and each circuit is separated by a longer rest period. The total number of circuits performed during a training session may vary from two to six depending on your training level.
Circuits are great for increasing overall fitness and weight loss. These classes are ideal for all levels of fitness from beginner to advanced and you work to your own levels and speed.
There are only 12 places available for each class so call 07590 893172 / 01296 733550 and book to avoid disappointment. Please bring a bottle of water with you. The price is £4.50 per class.
